Signature Wi-Fi 7 feature goes live in over-the-air demo
At IFA Berlin, Europe’s most prominent consumer electronics trade show, Qualcomm Incorporated President & CEO Cristiano Amon made history with the first public demonstration of the must-have Wi-Fi 7 feature for smartphones, PC’s, and more: HBS (High Band Simultaneous) Multi-Link – double the performance of Wi-Fi 6E. At the Snapdragon Festival in China held just days earlier, a public demo showed that even without access to the 6GHz spectrum band, HBS Multi-Link enables 240MHz channel performance to deliver more than 50% higher speeds.
